Tracking

There are various disciplines of tracker dogs. In this section we mean the tracking dog on human scents. Working dogs that can follow a trail.

Such tracker dogs can search for suspects, fugitives and missing persons.

There are also tracker dogs that search for human remains.

Basic Tracking

Our training staff can count on the vast knowledge and experience of trainer Jos Van Kerckhove.

The experience of our team in dog sport is a very good and strong basis for tracking in general.

Our staff led by Jos prefers to select puppies to learn tracking from a very young age.

A good basic tracking is very important and requires a lot of patience.

Fully trained tracker dogs

We like to train pups from a young age to be fully trained tracker dogs.

Tracking can be done by many different breeds provided they meet the high standards we set.

So it is certainly possible with Malinois, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, ... Dogs with enough stamina to work out a track completely well.

Dual Purpose Dogs

Some services want dogs that are trained for 2 different disciplines.

For example, patrol dogs that can also search for drugs.

But it is also possible that patrol dogs search for people, such as a missing person or a criminal.
